Home - The Possible Zone envision a world where Where Young People Thrive Boston high school students spark their passions and develop entrepreneurial spirit key skills and mindsets and valuable networks in our exciting tuitionfree experiential learning program. These young people thrive as they explore STEAM technologies in our stateoftheart Innovation Center and develop valuable social and emotional skills in our supportive programming. Reinforced by a network of educational and industry partners and guided by our college and career advisors students leave The Possible Zone equipped to shape their futures as lifelong learners and ready to pursue innovative careers of the future. Our Program Entrepreneurship Ventures Deep Dives TPZ Students Alumni Boston Public high school students bring their whole selves to TPZ.

Meet Maria (pronounced like ‘Mariah’) McCarthy, our Vice President of Institutional and Public Funding on the Development team. Maria began her fundraising career while she was with Northeastern University, helping to launch Foundation Year, a program aimed at helping students, mostly from Boston Public Schools, transition successfully to college. After Northeastern, Maria became a development consultant/grant writer for several education-focused clients, many focused on college readiness and access.
