Home North White Oak Civic Association Silver Spring MD The North White Oak Civic Association NWOCA is a notforprofit community association formed in 1974to serve the needs of the North White Oak neighborhood bounded by Colesville Road US 29 New Hampshire Avenue MD 650 Jackson Roadand the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreational Park. The mission of the NWOCA is to 1 preserve the quality of the neighborhood 2 keep the community informed on issues that impact us and 3 serve as an advocate for the communitys position on those issues with governmental officials. The NWOCA meets about three times each year at the White Oak Library usuallyon Wednesday evenings.
