The Will & Deni McIntyre Foundation was established in 2009 to support and promote public education and to raise the profile of non-profit organizations and the arts through the creation of videos, books, and photography for websites and related media. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. One of our projects is David Holt's State of Music, which premiered on PBS stations in 2015. It was the prime fundraising entity for David Holt39s State of Music a PBS series that over its six seasons was aired by PBS affiliates in all fifty states. In 2023 the foundation launched a new series for PBS My Music with Rhiannon Giddens hosted by the Pulitzer Prizewinning performer and music scholar. The foundation has received major grants from the Rhea Bigelow Charitable Trust the Carlyle Adams Foundation the National Endowment for the Arts North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources the Community Foundation of Henderson County NC and its Perry N.
