Chicago Barn Dance Company Chicago Barn Dance Company About Us Update to Covid Policy as of February 16 2025. The Chicago Barn Dance Company sponsors and supports contra dance traditional square dance and oldtime music in the Chicago area. Our dances are open to the public with no costume partner or experience necessary. Beginners are welcome and should arrive early in the evening when the dances are usually easier and taught more completely.
