On Saturday, May 18th, the AMAL Institute community came together at the Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT) to celebrate a major milestone—the graduation of 78 of our students from the first batch of our two-year Murabbi Development program. This event marked not just the end of a structured academic journey, but the beginning of a lifetime of purpose-driven contribution and leadership. AMAL is unique in that its graduates are not scholars or shuyukh, but rather well-rounded individuals, deeply rooted in tradition, who are committed to contributing to society as a whole. They are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters—and they are also Muslim American activists, striving to better their communities and bring Islam to the forefront of their lives.
