Hospital for Special Care (HFSC) is the 4 largest, free-standing long-term acute care hospital in the U.S. and one of only two in the nation. We Rebuild Lives. We are the fourth largest, free-standing long-term acute care hospital in the U.S. Serving Central Connecticut since 1999, Manes & Motions' mission is to provide benefits in the areas of therapy, education, sports and recreation through the use of equine assisted activities for the well being of individuals living with physical, emotional and/or cognitive special needs. Manes & Motions strives to provide these benefits in a safe, compassionate, challenging and enjoyable environment.
