The Forest Moon Festival kicks off this Friday! While you’re out podracing, stop by the Star Wars exhibit at the Fortuna Depot Museum! It features items from the huge collection of Star Wars memorabilia collected by our HCHS board member Mark Castro, seen here last year posing with curator and “Imperial Officer” Alex Service. The exhibit fills two cases: one focused on Return of the Jedi (the locally-filmed Star Wars film, that is showing outside at Rohner Park in Fortuna circa 8:30 on Friday, May 30), and one of more general Star Wars memorabilia, covering all eras of the franchise from 1977 to the present. Check out the events! Galaxy-themed costumes are encouraged but not required. When: Friday, May 30, 2025 at 6pm Where: Rohner Park (5 Park Street, Fortuna, Ca) Activities (Starting at 6pm): • Themed Roller Skating at the Pavilion (6pm-8pm, $5 Entry) • Depot Museum Star Wars Historic Exhibit • Food and Vendors! • At 8:30pm, join us for a free movie screening of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi!
