Over the last three years, our High School to Postsecondary Collaborative has helped schools use data and student voice to reimagine their postsecondary preparation systems. Here are some of our lightbulb moments: 💡Students are able and willing to participate in conversations about their future. 💡School leaders have a deep interest in student outcomes after graduation, but fees and complicated data software have historically held them back from examining postsecondary enrollment and completion data. 💡Systemic change is often hard and slow—but possible. Now, Washington schools can automatically access postsecondary student data—no fees necessary. As the Collaborative wraps up, we are feeling immense gratitude for the regional leaders, school administrators, counselors, teachers, and students who have joined us in this work.
