Innovative and comprehensive evidence-based recovery treatment services which include outpatient, extended residential care and sober living environment. Serenity House Counseling Services, Inc. is a nonprofit, community-based treatment facility offering Founded in 1985, Serenity House has consistently expanded substance use disorder services and capacity throughout the Chicago Collar Counties to meet the demand for treatment. Serenity House serves hundreds of men and women yearly in our extended residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient, DUI services, and recovery home programs. These programs provide a person-centered, trauma-informed, holistic approach that empowers individuals to become self-sufficient, resilient, and productive members of their communities while improving their quality of life. Serenity House provides these individuals the necessary skills to rebuild families, strengthen relationships, and successfully transition formerly homeless/unemployed men and women back into their communities.
