Amyloidosis is a rare blood disorder. It is estimated that only 8 in 1,000,000 people develop this disease and has "orphan disease" status with NIH. The amyloidosis support network is committed to increasing the rate of early detection of amyloidosis thereby improving survivability and quality of life. Our core mission is to increase physician awareness. We also provide patient education materials, advocacy and support resources. Lastly we promote support high-value research projects. We intend to sponsor programs and services, anywhere in the world, through the leadership of our knowledgeable and dedicated volunteers.
