Meet the Positive Planters. This student-led service project brought smiles and joy to WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital on Friday 🌸 Each year, 5th and 6th grade students from the Compass Mark Leaders of Future Generations group work together to create a service project to put their developing leadership skills to good use. The students determined that patients discharging from their local hospital could use a boost of kindness.

A creative twist to engage and educate this Stroke Awareness Month. Cesar Valesco typically dons his scrubs as a stroke program coordinator, but this month his attire symbolizes that of a lifesaving treatment – TNK or Tenecteplase. Kelly Trynosky, director of clinical services, was dressed in a red visor and covered in red balloons to represent a blood clot, which often causes a stroke.
