The mission of Mid-State Roller Derby (previously Mid-State Sisters of Skate) is to empower and foster the personal growth of women through the sport of roller derby, volunteerism, and service in the Central Wisconsin community. MSRD is a 501(c)3 non-profit, flat track roller derby team that consists of all types of women, who currently in the age range of 21 to 45. We have stay-at-home moms and working moms, sporty women, women with professional jobs, college students, business owners, and nurses just to name a few. We have women who have hardly or never skated before to ex-hockey skaters. Every woman brings her story to create our diverse league.
