THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S CENTER IN AFGHANISTAN TEACHING CHILDREN WITH LEARNING AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. Some are paralyzed from the waist-down, have lost a limb or eye but suffer no mental or cognitive deficiency, while others are deaf or mute or suffer mental retardation. THE CENTER ServeS both boys and girls from the ages of 5 to 18 years old. tHERE ARE CURRENTLY ABOUT 55 CHILDREN BEING SERVED IN 2012. tHE CENTER PROVIDED community based programs are A successful means of providing rehabilitation and support services to the Afghan population.
