SEATTLE CHAPTER AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF WOODTURNERS
Seattle Chapter AAW's mission is to inform and educate the public about woodturning as a traditional and contemporary craft and art form, and to foster a wider understanding and appreciation of woodturning among the general public, hobbyist turners, part-time and professional turners. This will be accomplished by providing education, information, organization, technical assistance, and publications relating to woodturning. The chapter will foster a supportive environment to enable members to increase their skills and enjoyment by providing demonstration programs, hands-on workshops and a mentoring program for individual learning. Turners of all skill levels are welcomed and include members from beginners to nationally recognized gallery turners.
