We use our own, and child and youth development research from other institutes, to support schools, We are an independent community-based ‘think and do’ tank. Our mission is to conduct community-involved and university-supported birth through adolescent education research and advocacy on how children learn that is shared with adults to support the safety, growth, development, and learning of historically under-resourced children, youth, and communities of color. We bring Black, Indigenous and People of Color together to heal and create human-centered solutions to social justice challenges, and work closely with community partners to reimagine research and evaluation and advocate for transformative policy and system change.
