This week, don’t miss the Lenten rose—a perennial show-off that defies the last whispers of winter with elegant, nodding blooms in soft shades of white, yellow, pink, and purple. These beauties often bloom while there’s still snow on the ground—talk about Midwestern grit! And for something fleeting but fabulous, head to the Fountain Garden and behind the Visitors Center to spot the Merrill magnolias. Their snowy white petals (with a hint of blush) are putting on a show right now—but only for a short time. A dip in temps could wrap things up quickly, so catch them while you can!
