Oftentimes something magically happens to our countenance in church parking lots; we instantaneously form those smiles across our faces and brush our brokenness aside while we walk from our car to the church building. We get lost in the crowd. Church parking lots can be lonely slabs of asphalt when brokenness is a topic of contention and the Christian feels compelled to hide behind a façade because if they are real they just may rock the boat in a church setting.

I had the tremendous blessing sharing at Heights Church yesterday in Prescott, Arizona. I spoke about John 15 and the fundamental discipline in what in means for a follower of Jesus to REMAIN - REMAIN in the vine. We are declared clean through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
