The Wayne County Community Foundation was happy to participate again in the Honesdale High School Reality Fair, where students worked through financial exercises based on potential employment, family circumstances, bills, and a monthly budget. This week, our board chair, Jay Starnes, and President/CEO, Ryanne Jennings had the privilege to attend the CFLeads Forum in Indianapolis. Thank you to CFLeads for hosting this important gathering and bringing together leaders from community foundations across the country to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and be inspired. It was such fun to meet new colleagues and catch up with friends from near and far! Particular highlights were hearing from NY Times best selling author, @heathercmcghee and watching the film Pain and Peace presented by @wwhforgive and hearing from the executive producer and hate crime survivor Rais Bhuiyan about his journey of forgiveness.
