“Strengthening Communities Through Schools” Strengthening communities through schools since 2008. #LookNorth NCCP was formed 15 years ago in direct response to the lack of outside support for academic challenges facing the children of North Chicago, Illinois. Through the implementation of the “community school” model, NCCP has had the privilege of developing strong relationships within the community and providing programs and support that complement classroom instruction, enhance student learning, strengthen school climate, actively engage parents and address the needs of the whole child. The success of our model is highly dependent upon the ongoing contributions of time, talent, and treasure from our neighbors.
