☀ Summer is here, and with it comes the increased need for transportation and meals for the teens and young adults we serve. When school is out, many of our participants lose access to consistent transportation and daily meals. That’s where Project LIFT steps in, but we can’t do it without you. 🚗 Over the past year, Project LIFT invested $76,100 in fuel and vehicle maintenance - providing safe and reliable transportation, breaking down barriers and ensuring more than 700 teens have access to critical mental health programming. Our fleet covers over 600 miles a day, and this distance only increases in the summer as demand rises. 🍽 Additionally, we spent $58,000 to provide nutritious, family-style meals in a safe, supportive environment. We serve two meals a day during the summer for four days a week at each of our sites, ensuring no young person goes hungry while in our care. These components of our programming are critical, as they are essential to the healing, learning, and personal growth that happens at Project LIFT.
