St. Josephs House, Inc. embraces the gospel of life through three main program services - authentic Catholic education through St. Philomena Academy a hybrid school, assistance to widows, orphans and families, and Catholic evangelization. St. Josephs House, Inc. is run by lay people and does not operate as an organization of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

St. Joseph's House

St. Joseph's House is a charitable non-profit organization with the mission to promote and foster the "Culture of Life" as advocated by Blessed Pope John Paul II in his Papal Encyclical "The Gospel of Life." The organization was founded by John and Donna Kurtz to apply these teachings by caring for human life from conception to natural death.

Mission Statement

The primary objective of St. Joseph's House is to provide charitable services to the most vulnerable members of society, including widows, orphans, children, and families in crisis situations. These services encompass religious instruction, food, clothing, shelter, counseling, schooling, tutoring, and educational resources.

Services and Activities
  • Religious Instruction: Providing faith-based guidance and support.
  • Food and Clothing: Offering basic necessities to those in need.
  • Shelter: Providing housing for families and individuals facing homelessness or crisis.
  • Counseling and Education: Offering counseling services, schooling, and tutoring to support personal development and empowerment.
  • Community Support: Fostering a supportive community through various activities and resources.
Purpose

By focusing on these services, St. Joseph's House aims to cultivate a society that values human life at all stages and provides essential support to those who are marginalized or underprivileged. The organization's efforts are geared towards creating a more compassionate and inclusive environment for its service recipients.
