Get Involved with CLA! Each year, the Children’s Literature Assembly holds an election to select three new members to serve on the Board of Directors. The 2025 nominating committee is in the process of preparing a slate of candidates for the election to be held this fall. The three elected board members will serve a three-year term from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028. If you are interested in being considered for board candidacy or would like to nominate another member, please complete the Nomination Form: tinyurl.com/ChLitAs All nominations are due by Thursday, July 31, 2025. Reminders: All nominees must be current CLA Members at the time of nomination and through the election. Before nominating a member, please check with the member you wish to nominate to be sure they agree to be a candidate. Elected Board Members cannot serve two successive terms.
