New Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are the In-Store Adoption Partner for the North Garland PetSmart. We have been fortunate to occupy and maintain this adoption center since 2005. With respect and compassion for all cats, New Beginnings Cat Rescue promotes lifelong relationships between people and animals, providing foster care for each precious life until adopted into a home. Our mission is to work with the public, other rescue groups, and animal control to save homeless cats in our community.

We do not have a shelter but instead place our cats waiting for a space in our adoption center with loving foster families who care for them and see to their health needs when necessary. We are fortunate to be able to use the adoption center at the Garland Texas PetSmart at Hwy 190 and N. Garland Avenue.
