Serious Fun’s mission is Inspiring creativity while creating opportunity: • We create space for children to engage in hands-on exploration of the arts. • We collaborate with artists in our community to share their passion for the arts. • We develop the artist in every member of our team. Founded in 2010, Serious Fun After School, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides arts enrichment and childcare in 5 New York City Title I public schools, where more than 40% of families qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our after school program is family supported, and we try to keep our rates very affordable. We offer subsidies and scholarships to help serve the needs of our community. We also provide a free musical theater summer camp, sponsored by NYC DYCD.
