TO WORK COOPERATIVELY WITH RUTGERS AND ROWAN UNIVERSITIES TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO MATTERS OF MUTUAL CONCERN. SUCH MATTERS INCLUDE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PURSUIT OF QUALITY AND EQUITY IN ACADEMIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS, THE FURTHERANCE OF THE ECONOMIC WELFARE OF THE MEMBERS THROUGH COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATOINS AND ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF MEMBERS' CONTRACTS.
