For five generations, Delia Rodríguez Lucas’s family has farmed the land. But as solar farms expanded, she saw farmers forced to choose between growing food and producing clean energy. She refused to accept that tradeoff. With Eki Labs, Delia is proving that agriculture and renewable energy can coexist. Her vertical bifacial solar panels take up 95% less space while generating 22% more energy, allowing farmers to keep their land and earn from solar power. With a co-op of 53 farmers ready to adopt the model and partnerships that could reach thousands of farmers, Delia is leading a movement for sustainable farming and clean energy.
