Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue is a non profit, State Licensed, ALL Volunteer organization that helps homeless or abandoned Shetland Sheepdogs; also known as "Shelties".To see all our dogs, visit us at:www.illinoissheltierescue.com To take in any Animal that needs us, without regard to health, age, or temperament To provide excellent Veterinary care to all animals in our program To bring each animal in our care back to optimum health To Spay and Neuter all animals in our program, unless medically contraindicated. To provide a safe, caring environment for all animals in our program To humanely euthanize any animal suffering, that cannot be saved. To place our adoptable animals in approved safe, loving, permanent homes. To provide our unadoptable animals with permanent foster homes To lead by example in the excellent care we give our animals To work with troubled animals toward rehab and placement. To educate the public on proper pet care and responsible ownership
