Students at Matoska International IB World School in White Bear Lake, MN, held a Walk for Water! Rain or shine, these students were determined to walk to raise awareness and funds for their partner schools in La Paz, Honduras. Older students prepared presentations to teach the second graders about water access issues worldwide. Our Mission H2O for Life activates youth to help solve the global water crisis. Featured blog post When Washington Steps Back Americas Students Step Up Sometimes the most powerful solutions come from unexpected places. While the federal government retreats from funding critical global water initiatives students across the United States are proving that leadership isnt about politicsits about action. Thats why I wrote a guest commentary for the Minnesota Reformer to share a story of hopeone that proves strategic investments in young people and the nonprofit sector arent just nice ideas theyre the antidote to government inefficiencies and overcorrection.
