Shelter Care Ministries
provide shelter, awaken hope and honor dignity Providing housing for the homeless and a drop-in center for adults with mental illness since 1985. Since 1985, Shelter Care has been addressing the needs of individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, many of who live with a serious mental illness. Shelter Care offers three programs to the community: Supportive Housing: 4 different housing types to address short and long-term goals for families and individuals to obtain stability. The Jubilee Center: A drop-in day center for adults living with chronic mental illness. The Center staff offers support and advocacy to 50-70 members each day. Members receive case management, counseling, medical care, socialize, eat meals, play pool, work on arts and crafts, and engage with their greater community at Jubilee.
