The Strive Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to supporting innovative local programs that help the working poor in the East Bay achieve economic self-sufficiency.Established in 2006 as the 1200 Foundation, our organization partners with local organizations that provide job training, career counseling, entrepreneurship mentoring, education on financial literacy and other tools to help low-income individuals and families support themselves. As a grant-making organization, due diligence is conducted on every organization to ensure that the grants contribute to meaningful and effective programs that create opportunities for the working poor in the East Bay.
