Homelessness can happen to any family. Our mission is to end homelessness, one family at a time, because every child deserves a home. Through safe housing and education, Family Promise guides families as they rise from homelessness to sustainable independence. Our focus is protecting the family unit by teaching them the skills they need to become self-sufficient and maintain independent lives. Families are referred to our program through social service agencies, welfare offices, hospitals, congregations, school guidance offices, or friends and family that are looking to help a family in crisis. Families meet with our Executive Director to determine if they would be a good fit for us. If not, no family is turned away without being directed to other resources.
