The Need for BLCI Barrio Logan College Institutes main priority is to positively impact the lives of San Diego youth and the trajectory of their futures. Students in our programs begin their college journey in 3rd grade. To date 100 of our students have enrolled in college. Research shows that low academic attainment levels are associated with poverty crime low civic engagement and poor health outcomes.
