Piscataquog Land Conservancy
Founded in 1970, PLC is a non-profit regional land trust that serves 26 communities in southern NH. The mission of the Piscataquog Land Conservancy (PLC) is to conserve the natural and scenic landscapes of the Piscataquog, Souhegan and Nashua River watersheds in southern New Hampshire. Our core programs are land protection, stewardship and outreach. PLC permanently protects land in an undeveloped state through the acquisition of property or conservation easements via voluntary real estate transactions. Once properties are protected, we monitor/manage the land to ensure the perpetual conservation of natural resources, and in most cases, public access for recreation and education. We also offer a diverse program of outdoor educational and recreational events on our lands that are open to the general public, and communicate regularly about our work and the value of land conservation.
