Our mission at Global Gardens is to empower students in low-income communities to be agents of change in their own lives and communities through hands on science and peace education. We believe helping students create a garden is a way to not only assist them in learning about science, health and the environment but also challenge them to become caring, forward-thinking and confident individuals.

From the Dung Beetle Barrel Roll to Worm Gymnastics, last summer’s Bug Olympics had campers moving, laughing, and gaining confidence with every challenge. 🐛 This is our Spring Fundraising Campaign, and we’re aiming to raise $10,000 by June 16 to support summer learning for Tulsa kids. With all the ups and downs, challenges and successes, and the little moments in between that a year can hold, this school year was a beautiful one. The classrooms and gardens are quiet now, but we are holding on to the the joyful celebrations held to mark the end of another great season together.
