THE FOUNDATION HELPS FILL THE GAPS IN SERVICES BENEFITING THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED THROUGH ITS OWN PROGRAMS AND IN COLLABORATION WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS TO: HELP PREVENT BLINDNESS THROUGH EDUCATION AND MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS; HELP SUPPORT COUNSELING FOR LOW-VISION PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES; PROVIDE CULTURAL-ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED;MAKE EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE TO AID BLIND AND LOW-VISION PATIENTS; PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED, AND; PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO NEEDY, VISUALLY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS FOR THEIR GENERAL WELFARE.

Welcome to the Houston Delta Gamma Foundation The Houston Delta Gamma Foundation endeavors to fill gaps in funding and services offered by state and community agencies for the blind and visually impaired in the greater Houston area. It helps with the prevention of blindness medical intervention counseling low vision and educational aids as well as cultural enrichment. The Foundation is uniquely flexible in providing this support. This year the Houston Delta Gamma Foundation granted funds to twelve local groups that support the mission of our foundation to support the organizations who provide services for our neighbors who are blind or vision impaired.
