Promoting the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the area surrounding Beekman Place NYC THE CORPORATION WORKS TO PROMOTE THE SECURITY, SAFETY, PRESERVATION AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THE BEEKMAN PLACE NEIGHBORHOOD IN MANHATTAN. DUES AND ASSESSMENTS COME FROM MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO GENERALLY LIVE IN OR AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHICH CONSISTS PRINCIPALLY OF CO-OP HOUSING CORPORATIONS. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS DEFINED AS BEEKMAN PLACE, UP TO BUT NOT INCLUDING FIRST AVENUE, BETWEEN EAST 51ST STREET AND MITCHELL PLACE. THE MEMBERSHIP ALSO INCLUDES INDIVIDUAL HOMEOWNERS AND BUSINESSES RESIDING IN AND LOCATED IN THE PREVIOUSLY DEFINED AREA. MEMBERSHIP DUES AND ASSESSMENTS ARE USED ENTIRELY IN THE PERSUIT OF THE OBJECTIVES DEFINED ABOVE.
