To coordinate the activities of local businesses, service organizations, public and private agencies, and individuals, to provide services for homeless veterans and their dependents; to conduct an annual stand down for homeless veterans and their dependents of Solano, Napa, Sonoma and Yolo counties of the state of California; to advocate for the needs of these veterans and their dependents, to address barriers to housing, employment and other benefits to which they may be eligible.

North Bay Stand Down - North Bay Stand Down 707 6763220 Contact Us North Bay Stand Down Change in Operations Beginning in 2024 About North Bay Operation Hand Up North Bay Stand Down North Bay Stand Down has been assisting homeless andor atrisk veterans since 2002 in the counties of Napa Solano Sonoma and Yolo California. North Bay Operation Hand Up Quick Facts COVID created unique challenges for us along with the rest of the world and changed the way we operated. The North Bay Stand Down changed to a oneday rest from the daily battle of living on the streets. Homeless andor AtRisk Veterans were met by caring Volunteer Ambassadors along with a fresh cup of coffee and breakfast and were guided through the process of getting a hand up.
