Home Our organization is the subject of the award winning documentary film THE ELEPHANT IN THE LIVING ROOM Our Story In 2001 a group of police officers firefighters and paramedics joined together and established Outreach for Animals a nonprofit 5013 organization whose mission is to educate young people to respect wildlife and its natural habitat. Over the years our message has reached millions of people through all forms of media and outreach programs. Our goal is to continue to be the number one advocate for proper behavior around wildlife by bringing greater understanding of wildlife to the general public through a national presence with lectures programs educational materials and experience.
