Home Join Our Group Resources More Council On Adoptable Children Our Mission The mission of Council on Adoptable Children of Texas is to support adoptive families through education networking and advocacy to enhance family wellness. COAC was established by a group of adoptive families in the early 80s because they sought support from each other. Since that time the group has worked with the state of Texas on legislative issues pertaining to foster care and adoption. Fun events are hosted for adoptive families annually.
