Then & Now: Oklahoma Theatre Supply Co. Built in 1946 by the Peeks, Oklahoma Theatre Supply Co. was a key contributor to Film Row's ecosystem surrounding the film exchange program, and where Maxine Peek operated her business for over 70 years. This landmark business supplied films, projectors, seats, and concessions to local theaters, later becoming the region's top installer of drive-in speaker systems, and was the only building on Film Row to continue into the 21st century under a single owner and operator. Most recently home to Creative Academy's fine arts program before its move to Walker Ave, this building is a testament to West Village's rich cinematic heritage.
