Successful Survivors Foundation is an educational non-profit which exists to encourage, educate and empower survivors of abuse to create personal and professional success. Successful survivors of childhood trauma show other survivors how to mine the lessons from painful experiences and apply them to their lives. These "lessons" include the survival skills we learned in the midst of turmoil such as reading facial expressions and body language; coping skills such as our sense of humor; and our many valuable and highly transferrable character traits including courage, determination, resourcefulness, and resilience. Successful survivors of childhood trauma are stronger than the average person. Our excellent work ethic and strong sense of loyalty, make us valuable at work and in relationships.
