Celebrating Live Community Theatre since 1951!! The primary purpose of Greensburg Civic Theatre (GCT) is to serve the Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Southwestern Pennsylvania community and beyond through the staging and presentation of dramatic plays and works, to present opportunities for amateur as well as aspiring professional actors, directors, and other theater technicians to explore their talents within the local community. The organization also operates Greasepaint Players (GPP), affording young children not only an introduction to stagecraft, but the opportunity to develop poise, self-confidence, language skills, and group responsibility. The organization, from time to time, through GPP, may offer classes in acting and stagecraft fundamentals
