The Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Association sponsors middle and high school contests in speech, debate, theatre, and film since 1895. Middle + high school speech, debate, theatre, and film contests. The Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association provides opportunities for middle and high school students in Wisconsin to enhance communication skills through participation in theatre, debate, and speech activities. We also promote and encourage cooperation among various educational communication and theatre organizations in Wisconsin, and provide a forum for development of standards, skills, and materials for participation in these activities.
