Dreamland Animal Rescue, Inc
Dreamland Animal Rescue was formed October 13, 2004. The rescue is dedicated to helping stray, abandoned and abused animals find new, loving, forever homes. We do not have a shelter, so all of are animals are placed in foster homes. Some of the animals also spend time at our veterinarian's office until they can be placed in foster homes. There is an adoption fee (donation) for each pet adopted. The adoption fee (donation) for most cats and kittens is $100. The adoption fee for most dogs and puppies is $130. This fee includes vaccinations and spay or neuter. All animals are kept on flea and tick preventative and all dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Adoption fees (donations) only cover a portion of the expenses for each pet and this amount has to be supplemented by funds raised for operating expenses, other donations and other fundraising activities.Cat adoption fee includes ($100): Felv/FIV test, 4/1 vaccine*, Felv vaccine, 1 year rabies vaccine, fecal check, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter*.Dog adoption fee includes ($130): 8/1 vaccine*, 1 year rabies vaccine, Heartworm test (if over 6 months of age), fecal check, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter.Currently our funding consists of public donations, and proceeds from fundraising activities such as bake sales and selling Spay/ Neuter magnets. In the future we plan on applying for several grants. After we receive more funding in a few years we plan on building or leasing a facility to house, care for, and adopt out animals.
