Founded in 1985, MA Odyssey is the Massachusetts branch of Odyssey of the Mind, an international educational program offering creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through adult. Massachusetts Odyssey of the Mind is an all-volunteer organization that coordinates and administers the Odyssey of the Mind program in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides extracurricular, team-based, creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Students work in teams and apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. Our organization volunteers recruit Massachusetts schools and community groups to take part in the program and assist them as they work with their students to complete the creative challenges designed for Odyssey of the Mind.
