Sigma Tau Gamma mourns the passing of William P. “Bill” Bernier, Kent State ’70, our 5th Chief Executive Officer, who entered Chapter Eternal on May 13, 2025. We Hail Thee, Brother. For more than 40 years, Brother Bernier was a guiding light for Sig Tau as CEO. Initiated into the Iota Chapter in 1970, his legacy includes welcoming over 35,000 new members, chartering 51 chapters, leading national initiatives, and expanding our reach nationwide. He embodied principled leadership and unwavering dedication to our brotherhood.
