The purpose of the Hayward Area Forum for the Arts is to stimulate continuing community interest in the arts and to expand the image of the City of Hayward as a cultural center. • To accomplish its purpose, the Forum shall o coordinate with existing art organizations to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of the City of Hayward o encourage and provide a network for communication between local artists and the community as a whole o provide visual and performing art exhibitions by professional artists as well as new and emerging artists o promote art that reflect the diverse culture of Hayward and the surrounding area o work with schools, government, businesses, and community service organizations to accomplish these goals.
