Thanks to you, today wasn’t just another school day. It was #MenstrualHygieneDay: filled with encouragement, connection, and care. To everyone who sent a note, thank you. You reminded girls that they’re supported, celebrated, and never alone. And with the help of L., more girls received the supplies and support they need to keep showing up. This is how we build a #PeriodFriendlyWorld —together! #MHDay2025 #periodpositive #EmpowerHer #KeepGirlsInSchool (fb)

It’s Menstrual Hygiene Day!! 💌 Girls across Kenya are receiving Huru Kits filled with essential supplies, menstrual health education, and handwritten notes from people around the world. And thanks to the generous support of L., we’re able to reach even more girls with the resources they need to manage their periods and stay in school with confidence. 💜 This is what it means to build a #PeriodFriendlyWorld! #MHDay2025 #ThisChangesEverything #PeriodPostitive (fb)

KEEPING GIRLS IN SCHOOL EVERY DAY OF THE MONTH. Every month millions of girls across Africa face the harsh reality of missing school because they lack access to safe sustainable period products. Mixed with deeply rooted cultural stigmas and embarrassment surrounding menstruation girls often fall behind in their education and many drop out. And without access to menstrual health education and basic reproductive health information they are susceptible to genderbased violence and sexually transmitted infections STIs including HIVAIDS.
