DDCdances, founded 1980, is a professional dance company dedicated to the creation and production of visually striking repertory that touches the senses. Through its life affirming work, DDC continues to embrace and inspire diverse audiences throughout Michigan and beyond. Mission: Detroit Dance Collective (DDC) is dedicated to cultivating Art That Matters, ensuring that significant social issues are reflected through our performances and educational programs for diverse communities in Michigan and beyond. Beliefs: Detroit Dance Collective believes that Dance is a powerful means of communication that affects our artistic, intellectual, emotional, and physical lives, and has a profound ability to heighten human expression within and across cultures.
