From 1954 to 1956, Vineland proudly hosted this festival each June, celebrating our region’s vital poultry and egg industry! Thousands flocked to town for a weekend of parades, live music, and the legendary chicken barbecue in Landis Park, where cooks used the world’s largest frying pan to sizzle up hundreds of eggs at once. The festival showcased Vineland’s agricultural heart and drew statewide attention, including floats, marching bands, cooking contests, and farm exhibits.
